Photo Adventure

Yesterday I went on my own little adventure in search of some great photographs. Not only did I succeed in adding some more pictures to my site, I also found a great place that I want to take the family back to explore some more.

My adventure began by driving towards West Marin. I knew what direction I would be heading, but I didn't know where I would stop, I was leaving that up to nature and what I could see from the window.  The Marin French Cheese always draws my attention when I drive past it. I love the pond and the green grass that surrounds it. This trip it was the white crane that drew my attention and caused me to pull over. She was beautifully situated in the corner of the pond beneath a stately tree. I was able to walk half-way around the pond to get a closer look. She was magnificent!

I then continued down the road towards Nicascio Reseviour in search of some more wildlife. Again I came across a bird standing in the water. In the background, I found some cattails and a tunnel to the larger lake.

After leaving Nicascio Reseviour, I headed toward Point Reyes Station. Just west of Point Reyes Station I came acrossWhite House Pool public access. This is an access point to Lagunitas Creek. I would love to take my family back here. We can drop the kayaks into the creek and paddle through the wetlands. I walked along the path that runs parallel to the creek. From the path, I could see large coho salmon swimming in the creek.

It was a great way to spend the morning.

Life is a Lovely Adventure
